Successful Alley Clean Up

Hi Resident, 

Yesterday newly formed Ankerdine and Donaldson NW groups joined forces to work together to reclaim shared space from flytippers. 

Concerns had been raised by residents about waste and flytipping in the passageway between the two roads. The two co-orrdinators Ade and Adam joined forces to tackle the issue. Ten volunteers worked together in the May sunshine for two hours to clear debris and waste with the help of a local councillor too. Matreses, clothing waste, a fridge and  scrap metal air conditioning units were amongst the items that will be removed by the council next week.     

New friendships were made and connections strengthened.
